I have a best friend who started acting really quiet around me and our other 2 best friends within the past month. She said she's depressed and doesn't know why but wouldn't explain further. I found out from others that she felt like no one respected her or cared about her even after I told her multiple times that I'll be here for her and that I actually do care. She flat out told me I was wrong. She then got mad at us if we asked if she was okay so we stopped. Now she doesn't hang out with us, talk to us, or acknowledge us. She's started making posts directed to me saying things like "I'm not going back to people who don't care about me...I won't be pulled back under...I don't care if going back is easier...etc" what do i do?

Hmm, that is a weird issue considering you have told her straight up that you would be there for her. But then again I think it’s something deeper. Maybe there are people around her she is trying ti impress or want to get closer to and she thinks maybe you and your friends are in the way? I would ignore it for a while now because honestly true friends don’t do things like that. She will come back if she really needs you.
